Happy Thanksgiving from Natural Zest
The holiday season is upon us. This means friends, family and FOOD will surround us at every turn. This is both a blessing and a curse. For those of us who are people pleasers, learning to say NO and take care of yourself is the biggest challenge. Some of us struggle to be accepted by our families (and ourselves!). Others are working hard to get healthy and lose weight, something that can be hard to keep doing with tables of food laid out!
Here are a few of my favorite holiday tips, to make your Thanksgiving a happy and healthy one!
- cut back on fat & sugar, you rarely need what the recipe calls for
- use simpler veggie dishes
- focus on MORE than food!
